"A solid Trek kit"

Very much recommended. I liked this kit enough to build three versions of this ship - one version as the ship appeared in the beginning of Wrath of Khan, one version with battle damage, and one version as the ship appeared at the very end of the movie. As I was building the kits, I had to rewatch Wrath of Khan for reference. I was impressed at how detailed and accurate this kit is to the filming version of the ship. A great build.

Awesome kit. Great detail. Goes to together well. This is my 4th Polar Lights kit and have not been disappointed yet. You need to add this to your stash if you are a Star trek fan or even if your not.

Accurate to great degree! I was able to watch the movie, take notes, and replicate the movie version pretty exactly with this kit
 
"Polar Lights Reliant"

The Reliant was a great build. Took the extra step and added lighting with fully operational navigation/strobe lights and impulse crystal. However, I was not impressed with the provided decals. Very fragile and not to scale. If you can afford it, buy the supplemental decal set from Polar Lights which in my opinion should have come with this model.
