This will be the second time I have built this kit, the first being the original release in 1969 when I was 15. While it has many inaccuracies due to its being based on early prototypes of the Saturn V and Block I version of the Apollo spacecraft, it is still an impressive model. In combination with the New Ware detail set and the decals from Space Model Systems, it becomes a challenging and rewarding build.
