Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea 4 Window Seaview

This kit is a repop by Moebius of the '60s TV show Seaview submarine. Moebius has an Irwin Allen (the producer) license and has released a number of kits based on his TV shows. This was originally made by Aurora back in the day so was a nice kit to find available for a good price of one of my fav TV shows when I was growing up. The kit is simple but is a good small rendition of this scifi submarine. The base does a good job of depicting an ocean floor and makes a nice shelf display when completed. And as with all my Moebius kits the fit and moldings are great. I highly recommend it to those geeky old guys fondly recalling the TV shows of their youth in the '60s.

This model of the Seaview submarine was an absolute joy to make and one of the easiest models I have assembled in a long time. The only reason I gave it a Good review and not an Excellent review was because I bought this model to replace an old Seaview model I had from years ago and this model was much smaller than the old Seaview model I had before. I also still have a model of the mini Flying Sub and anyone looking at this model and the model of the mini Flying Sub can see that they aren't to scale and don't look right together.

this was an wonderful build easy to read instructions great detailing especially the base looks like the sea bed being a big voyage to the bottom of the sea fan. it was fun to build .
