When I was about 10/12 in the '60s I loved the fantasy show cars of Tom Daniel's, Ed Roth, and others. So when I saw this kit was available again it went on my list and I picked it up. I built a couple of Daniels' designs back then but I think this was the first time for this one. It is a great kit and fits together nicely. I rather despise the plated chrome so I stripped those parts and sprayed them with Alclad chrome giving it a much nicer finish. I used Testors yellow enamel for the primary color and did the wood trim with hand painted acrylics. There was a fair amount of hand detailing but that really helps to finish it off. I now have most of Daniels' designs and the Red Baron and Pie Wagon are on the bench as well. Great nostalgic builds from my youth and highly recommended.
