"Disappointing kit for me, should be retired/redone"

This is an extremely old kit and not up to modern standards in terms of detail or poses. The body positions of the men running don't look very natural. There are a variety of kits with similar subject matter from other companies if you need them.

"British Addition to the Tamiya Line-up"

As with the other reviews of figure sets from the 1970s this set falls right in with the additional figures that were being released by Tamiya at the time. The variation of figure sets representing the Allies and Axis were limited in the 1/35th scale up until the releases by Tamiya as shown here. Up until the 1970s most of the mixed country releases were 1/32nd scale and not as nearly well defined as with Tamiya so the addition of this and other sets was a purely welcome one and even though not as well done as modern sets, still a welcome sight to some.
