Russian T72M1Tank

My first Russian tank. Not too bad..only 3 sprees. Lots of little pieces. The fuel tubing was a challenge. I did this in IDF colors,not into olive green. Very easy build 2 different variations.

Most parts fit perfectly, with the exception of the upper and lower turret halves, although this issue is easily fixed with some putty, and is pretty much impossible to see once sanded, as the texture of the putty matches the cast texture of the turret. The kit includes markings for East German, Iraqi, and Russian tanks. The kit also includes photo etched parts for the engine intake, and vinyl hoses for the external fuel tanks. As usual for Tamiya, the kit is highly detailed, with many small parts for things such as headlight covers and infrared searchlights. I wouldn't recommend for beginners as these small parts are very finicky and frustrating to newer modelers. Tamiya also included an excellent commander figure which is highly detailed down to the seams in the uniform.

Great Russian tank, more complex than other Russian tank models and more detailed. The fuel barrel setup is very detailed and the turret.
