"Tragedy/discontinued!"

It's a shame that this is discontinued! Rust-Oleum should bring these back. I prefer enamel over acrylic for models. I have no complaints about this enamel paint at all. It applies well and is a good paint for the price!! The color is spot on.

One can never have too many different shades of gray.

You can't go wrong with MM enamel paints. Easy to thin for airbrushing and works great with a brush, unlike acrylics. I use the small red can of Testors universal enamel thinner, usually around a 50/50 mix or 6 parts paint, 4 parts thinner. I especially love how I can just grab a small brush for touch-ups if I missed anything airbrushing and it still looks amazing.

"Good light gray for ships"

I use this for early WWII ships like the tops of the Arizona towers. It requires a few coats if going over a darker gray plastic, but the resulting flat light gray looks good.

Comments

  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Highly Flammable Paint.
  • Use with adequate ventilation.
  • In case of eye contact, flush eye with water for fifteen minutes and seek medical help.
  • If airbrushing, use Airbrush Thinner (TESR2999)
