"the E10 tank destroyer"

this tank was a future proto-type tank for the German war machine when they would change over to the E series tanks, there were 3 of these in production when the Russian army over ran the factory where they were being produced. this kit has 512 parts but really only 110 parts needed, there are many photo etched parts 2 sets of optional tracks rubber tracks and the plastic piece tracks and the early version and the new version to be used with the new E series tanks, so there are many optional parts and extra parts for your extra pieces stash, I would say this is a nice kit for the beginner and the WWII German tank collectors.

"Just like a tamiya"

I've built the Tamiya hetzer (1/35) and now I've built this too. I would've never been able to tell the manufacturer of the kit had it not been for the trumpeter logo. The majority of parts are clean and require minimal preparation before getting glued. the only parts that had any flash on them were the tools that are mounted on the hull roof, and even that was minimal. I cant comment on the single-link tracks, but the vinyl tracks are satisfactory, though they have a tendency to 'misbehave' and move unless they are superglued on. overall I'd give this kit a 5/5, and would strongly recommend anyone who is interested in 'Paper Panzers' to add one of these to their collection

"Neat Subject, Kit Could Be Better"

It's an interesting subject & a very simple build. There's no internals or gun breech since this was a concept vehicle only. It does come with basic markings but you can pretty much paint it anyway you'd like & mark it any way you choose which is nice to have that freedom. The decals are very good & leave no silvering when applied (correctly). The bad about this kit are the ejector pin marks & the parts do have flash which will need to be cleaned up. I would have used the single link tracks except each link had ejector pin marks which need cleaning up. The side skirts also have ejector pin marks on the inside which you may can let slide. The single piece tracks are vinyl & they do not glue with regular glue contrary to what the guide says. Overall its an OK kit & Trumpeter only makes this subject as far as I know. So if you can overlook the basic details & ejector pin marks it's not a bad kit & it's a simple build you could finish in a couple days.
