The BT-7 was the last and most produced version of the BT fast tank series. After op. Barbarossa the BT series started to disapear in the eastern front.
The UM kit it's one of the best kits i've built of this brand. The molding quality is very good throughout the entire kit. Rivet and bolt detail is plentiful, and there are few sinkholes or ejection pin marks. The wheels and tracks are amazingly well done. The turret is rather plain, but, is very well molded. Unfortunately, the hatches are molded closed.
Another fine feature of this kit is the small fret of photoetched brass. The engine deck screen, and some engine louvres are included as brass parts, and look really great when assembled.
The decals are comprehensive, and include markings for three vehicles.
The cons: The hull construction is very complex, with multiple parts that represent the many facets of the BT's angular hull, the poor instructions of this kit help to make it much more complex. Thanks to some internet images i corrected some mistakes that i made there.
Overall an excellent kit for it's scale, and by the way i think UM it's the only one who is building this tank in 1/72.
