This varnish is very tough as the product claims. With other gloss varnishes including Vallejo's regular gloss varnish are fairly easily scraped off with a fingernail and some pressure. This didn't even show any marks when I tried to scrape or damage it with a fingernail. I applied it using an airbrush on a toy and it leveled pretty nicely and dried with a nice gloss finish. The downside is it did seem to clog my airbrush some, so I added some Vallejo airbrush flow improver into the mix which helped a lot.

Purchased this varnish because it has resin in it. Used as a final finish on my acrylic painted figure. Works great
