I completed this incredible set several years ago and I'm still impressed. My inspiration is the Clint Eastwood movie Kelly's Heroes and how they might have travelled with their vehicles intact. The figures are well thought out and demand attention to detail as the action poses are very akin to direct combat as took place along the road, one can almost feel the urgency of that encounter. I used all the poses to the maximum of my imagination by carefully re-creating the position these soldiers would be in. Unload and deploy the machine gun and fire! By incorporation other combat-posed DML and other figures I created a realistic battle scene of survival of the strongest forces win. The figures had no faults and were easily assembled and placed in the diorama. I would highly recommend this set for any age group.
