This was my Second one done by PaintWorks by Dimensions some tips I learned doing these for you to get the same or close to the same results I got that you will be proud to display it. ( Copy the numbers or letters (sometimes) in (parentheses) next to the number in the key chart (paper) before you start as they will rub off after handling and you will not be able to read them later ) The painting is large in size 20x16 to be totally exact. The brush is of good quality but soon after awhile you will need to replace it like all brushes. I used a #3 for most of the areas as they where large enough. And I would get a #0 and possibly a #01 and/or #02 and #1 for fine details. A tip I will share as the instructions tell you to work your way from the top to the bottom. I would take it another way and paint your primary colors first. ( White always the very last color even after the mixed colors, realize that it will cover but will need several coats )So paint your second color all the way through until your done with the primary colors, doing one at a time and giving time to dry in between. Then start mixing colors ( be sure to leave a little primary color for touch-ups as needed when you finish with all the colors. ) I have noticed that certain colors will need two and possibly three coats of paint to cover fully. So, be prepared to do this as need. Never mix dark paint brush with light, use different brushes for light and dark, as the dark will stain the brush and the light colors will show signs of dark in the paint. So what do you do if you mix to much ( better to mix more then not enough (as you will never be able to make that shade exact again ) and you run out of color. No worries, just call Dimensions and tell them the code in ( ) that you need and the number of the painting your working on, and they will help you get more color. This is the first of a technique called WASH do as it says and you should get good results.
