1/350 scale is my favorite scale for modern ship models. I have been working for several months on a 1/350 model of the Titanic. Plastic ladders, railings and ratlines included with kit are oversized for the model and make it look like a toy ship and not a fine-scale model. This photo-etch set solves all three problems with kit. Removed all plastic railings and ladders and replaced with ones from this set. Of the several PE after-market sets for this model, this is the most essential for serious modeling.
