If I remember correctly, when this kit was first released back in the early seventies, it could be built as a flying model. I don't know why anyone would have done that, and I built it as a static model. That build-up is long gone, so now I get a second chance at the pleasure of building this iconic Space Age rocket. As other reviewers have noted, the seaming on the boosters is a bit off, but with a good cyanoacrylate technique, this should be a minor issue. Exceptional detailing of engine parts sets this apart from the otherwise excellent Airfix kit.
