fantastic kit. typical of amt's multiple choice car kits, lots of custom body mods to add, if you like. the engine is among the most unique you will ever find, second only to amt's double whammy (aka mr. speed.) i removed most of the classic '57 bel air side trim, and molded in the front and rear pans, and deleted the big bumpers. i also used the head and taillight frenching parts and the corvette-style grill. lots of body work and sanding and priming, just like a real car! love amt's custom parts in all their old iron kits. this one is among their best in style parts. i would recommend it highly. one of the best among many, many '57 chevy kits out there. not much in the way of moving parts, but tops in style points, in my opinion. an easy build for just about anyone, but to use amt's custom body mods, better stock up on the contour putty!
