Tiny Signs with Great Detail

It's really difficult to get the detail in this small a gauge, but Micron Art does it. The words on the cross buck sign are raised just enough that they can be highlighted with a No.2 pencil. I have a siding that the road crosses. I didn't think the warning lights were necessary there, so I made the warning signs without flashers. For my other crossing I replaced the provided red crystals with tiny LEDs because that's the mainline. Three of the smallest wires I had (one for each LED and the common lead from both) run down the post into the little box and out the bottom. I raised the signal flashing lights a little above the silver electrical box compared to the pictures in the instructions because I liked that look. The brass pieces in this kit are very tiny but can be handled with tweezers and toothpicks, and assembled with super glue. I strengthened the joints with a drop of 2 part epoxy after all was aligned and assembled since these signals will be in a briefcase Z layout and could be subject to more than normal forces. The four signs in one kit make for a reasonable cost since this covers two complete road crossings.
