On the box, Revell rated this kit as Level 2. With the detailed small parts and delicate connections, I would rate this as a Level 4 or even a 5 (their top). For such a cheap kit, the engineering is very impressive. For example, the design for the landing gear doors connections is top notch. The air intakes and side panels are well thought out. The details inside the wheel wells are amazing. The fitting of parts could be better. The aforementioned sides were a bit of a problem They would not allow me to lineup both front and back. I had to pick one and putty fit the other (though it wasn't horrible). Canopy had a fit problem too. I built it open so it was not obvious there was an issue. The door to the front wheel well was designed to be on the wrong side of the airplane. The kit came with only a few missiles so there would be several empty hardpoints. I augmented the kit with spare bombs and missiles to fully load the model. I thought the decal sheet to be a bit skimpy. Overall a fun experience and the result really looks good.
