This is the second model I have bought from HobbyBoss and they are very detailed with their pieces but like the first Pershing I did the Manual is off, meaning it not as clean cut and forward as other model companies so you just need to pay attention a little bit more when putting the model together. The model goes together quite easily, the plastic parts are stiff so that can be both good and bad when assembling not very giving in flexibility but for that if a part breaks you can shave it down easily and glue it with almost no notice. I would have to definitely say it does require time and patience for the tiny pieces that have no room for error, if you are thinking of buying for a beginner, you may want to rethink due to the manual for it is not beginner friendly but that is only my personal opinion, I would hate to see some one get flustered at the beginning of the build, but I think any one else with a little experience will have a lot of fun I know I did!!
