Great Kit

My driver and my passenger rear, both from other kits (up to three) Below waist is WW2 German drivers. Kit purchased here. WWll Drivers. Search it, if your ever in the mood for some heavy modeling. Try converging out. Good conversion kits here as well. yes, all you see was purchased here.

Actually the 50cal. is TAMIYA sold with Tamiya vehicles. Can't remember what kit I took it from. The detail sheet with the bullets gotten here. 100%

A few things I didn't love with this model. But I over came some difficulties building this. The two figures huge. Waist and head semi-normal. Our buddy with thumbs up. Head and arm all I used and if here is a good shot of it. His hand would cover the guys entire head. Bad. Look the arm is massive.

HD close ups on paint and brush isn't very flattering. But There is a crazy amount of detail here. Better in other pictures I hope. Took me three days with build and paint. The detail sheet (additional puchase) and the radio in this kit are insane. Very much quality. Radio in the kit is very cool.

Some companies the real class ones used to sign there company on them. You turn it over and your like, that's an Academy model? But yea, Academy. This modeling company has come a long way. Brilliant. Plastic tires not rubber. Rubber tires much better, these very good.

Total build cost not including my labor. Around $70 plus minus. All purchased here at Hobbylinc.com Also just a trick you may already know. Get rid of any shine on decals by brushing them with a clear flat paint. Make absolutely certain your decal is dry, holding before you do anything. Thanks:)

Modifications to Figures, top turret, and added a SAT antenna. Great Model, one of the best and easy to modify.

I hope you try the M1151 kit from Academy. It was amazing working on the kit. The vehicle is one of the best I have seen for the price. Amazing model, Has high detail radio, UHF antenna, nice original SAG shield and turret. I was really pleased. Recommend? Yes. Love this model.

I modified or replaced a great deal. However the model is amazing all by itself. A great deal and a great kit for those who like to take a kit to the next level. I think anything is possible with this kit, as it gives you a refined and cool (to scale) prototype that it's hard to go wrong. I loved it

This is my second M1151, the first one was fun the second was even better. Again this is my modification to the model. The crew I built out of many kits and accessories. The MK19 stowed in the back of this M1151 is Tamiya's from the M1025 Humvee kit. Fit nicely just a little adjustment.

It's always difficult building figures. For instance my driver has a left leg belonging to a wounded soldier and a right leg belonging to a German driver. Hours can go into sanding, cutting, and perfecting the figures position. Just try and do what you can with what you have.

These make a great looking set very happy with both of them.
