Tamiya German Nashorn Heavy Tank Destroyer Plastic Model Military Vehicle Kit 1/35 Scale #35335
This is what I meant when I mentioned snapping thin pieces when trying to cut them off the sprue. Parts F16 are thin holders for the spare road wheels. Next pic show a solution I came up with.

So this shows part F16 and to keep from snapping it in two I snipped the big part of the sprue then snipped closer to the part. I think it has to do with the pressure exerted on the part when being cut from the sprue. Could be wrong but it has worked for me so far.

This is what I mentioned in my review about the equilibrators. The diagram shows two caps inside the equilibrators. I think I will go with just one or none on the next Nashorn.

Here is where I had the problem with gluing them to the gun. The bottom portion was fine and had no problem but the top (where the blue thingamabob is pointing) came loose on both sides. I had waited overnight to make sure the glue was fully set (cured?). Still it broke loose. Just thought of using

This is step 35. Had no problem with the seat until the gun was put in place and moved it from side to side. Seat hung up on something and snapped so had to jury rig a fix, next pic.

The blue thingy is pointing to the gunner. I had to glue the seat to him and then glue him to the gun. Also if you look at the space he has you can see it is very cramped. If you can get him in correctly, not like me, there is very little space left so the gun won't be moving much toward his side.

As you can see the crew is a real mix of uniforms. I have noticed while looking up photos for research that not everyone wears the same uniform. Was going to do camo then figured what the heck lets add a winter uniform and an old field grey one on the gunner.

First time I tried the white camo. Happy with the results.

Not sure it comes through in this pic but if you look close you'll see blotches of a darker color under the white. I originally painted it dark yellow with dark green camo then changed my mind and went with the winter camo. I think it came out pretty good. I like it.

Frontal shot. I had already put on the decals when I changed by mind and decided to do the white. Found that a quetip(?) with windex did a good job of removing any paint I got on the decal.

As mentioned in my review I was surprised by the size of the model was expecting it to be bigger. The Kingtiger is on your right and Panther on the left. The Elefant is next and hoping it is bigger.
