The USS Excelsior, painted but without decals. After rewatching "Star Trek III," I opted to paint the hull Light Grey instead of White. Looks more realistic to me this way.

The USS Reliant, USS Enterprise, and USS Excelsior. All three kits are 1:1000, which I think is a good scale for "Star Trek" ships.

This kit allows you to build the "Star Trek III" or "Star Trek VI" version of the Excelsior. The "STIII" version is above; the "STVI" version is below. The flexibility is a nice option.

This highlights the differences between the "Star Trek III" and "Star Trek VI" versions of the ship that you can build from this kit. I personally think the "Trek VI" version looks better.

Two USS Excelsiors. The "Star Trek VI" version is on the left, "Star Trek III" version on the right. The kit provides a crammed decal sheet, but I'm terrible at decals. You can apply the NX- or NCC-2000 registries, depending on the version you choose to build.
