I may have been a little harsh in my review, but the kit finished well. I had fun with it! Still, I wish the details along the seam in the head had been molded a little deeper. I usually use cyanoacrylate on figure seams, and the shallowness of the brain convolutions made for a challenge, and putty

My review may have been a bit harsh because the model finished well. I glued the arms in place. If you do that, be sure to place the deeper elbow bend to the front for more posing latitude. The instructions are a bit vague, and the parts for both arms are identical. I used a fine-tipped red marker

I used a fine-tipped red permanent marker for the stand-alone veins. Except for the belt, which was spray painted on, I used acrylic pains with a soft brush to reduce stroke marks. The torso and legs were finished with a wash that included pearlizing medium for a subtle sheen.

I noticed in the movie that sometimes the pants look greenish. However, when the Mutant chases Dr. Ruth Adams around the control room, they appear blue. The greenishness is likely a studio light effect on the pants material.

I wired the base with slow-changing multi-colored 3 mm led lights. I used color shifting spray paint for the top. From overhead it looks green.
