Built straight from the kit. My son helped a bit. Fantastic model and the improvements Tamiya made to it in recent years are nice. The figures are still the ones from the 1970s, so don't expect much there.

The kit gives options for either the anti-aircraft or anti-tank version. This photo shows the anti-tank version. The detail on the weapon controls and gun breech are quite nice.

The right side of the gun has a fold up seat and wheels to control the movement. The armor shield in the front can be attached without glue, allowing it to be removed. The wheeled transport element is only partially assembled in this photo. It too is quite detailed.

One of my favorite features on this model is the mechanism that actually causes the 'elevation pistons' to move as the gun is raised and lowered. The movement is more obvious with the longer piston sleeves used for the anti-aircraft version. Photo shows anti-tank version.
