Here is a neat technique I used to wire up my switch machines prior to mounting them under the table. I used 2 pieces of old Bell telephone 4 conductor copper wire enclosed in the sleeve. There are 8 connections on the switch machine so it worked out good. I kept the red and black for the power source and the green and yellow for the double pole double throw switch connections. Just mirror them on each side. First I stripped the ends and pre tinned the copper wire before quickly soldering them to each point on the switch machine. Be careful use low wattage soldering iron and 1/32 dia. rosin core solder. Then, and this is the thing I'm most proud of I attached them to the switch machine body with my new best friend. THE HOT GLUE GUN. WOW why didn't I buy one of these hot glue guns sooner. I think I paid $7.00 for a cheapy and it works fine. No more pounding or screwing components to the under side of the table when a dab of hot glue will hold them just fine. See my photo of the wires attached to the switch machine.
