You are building a tank, and the paint and weathering are perfect. The figures are the best you ever completed. The photoetch parts went on with no hitches and look amazing. You know you have a tank that will definitely win your local model contest. So to finish off all you need to do is add those stupid looking rubber band like tracks. Of course the perfect build just turned into something that looks like a childs toy. Maybe your kit came with individual track links that will drive you crazy with all the clean-up needed. Then you need to glue them together which never quit comes out right. Your kit may have come with different length sections of tracks. But you still have clean up clean up and you never really get the natural sag to look right. If you have experienced these situations, the solution is Fruilmodel tracks. They come as individual tracks that do not need clean up. They do require assembly. But they look like real metal tracks because they are real metal tracks. They can be weathered to get some very realistic rust, dirt, and mud effects. They are also heavy so you get a very realistic sag. Putting them together is a bit tedious. But I can usually get enough put together in one night, while watching TV, to finish a tank. I put the tracks in a box. Next I run a small drill bit through where the wire goes. Then I cut the wires to an approximant length. Now all that is left is to actually assemble them and cut off any of the wire that is sticking out That is not too bad to get tracks that will set you tank apart from others. Before you attach them to the tank, you should weather them as appropriate for your build. You may wonder if I use them on my tanks. Yes, I do. And I highly recommend them for anybody wanting to achieve realistic results.
