The chrome is BEAUTIFUL. It will, however, rub off with handling. Others have noted it doesn't like Tamiya paints; I haven't had this issue - I use acrylics. I also wait until it's fully dry (overnight at least) before applying Tamiya clear gloss - this locks the chrome finish and won't rub off. The problem I have is with the pen part: The nib hardens quickly and renders the pen unusable, until you put a new nib in - and it absorbs a LOT of the ink, then dries out quickly. I have wound up using the pen as a paint pot and using a brush. Once it starts drying, DO NOT brush over it again, or you'll mar the finish! Wait until it's fully dry?(At least 15-20 minutes) before adding more if needed. If you go the paint pot and brush route, I'd recommend a refill bottle..

This is a very good alternative to using bare metal foil it has a very fine tip so it's very easy to use on small areas and somewhere that bare metal foil cannot go I have also use mine to fix chrome parts that the Chrome is busted when you break it from the sprue I just think this is a very good product it's something I use a lot more than I thought I would very much looks like real Chrome so I recommend this to everyone who want something to use other than BMf I use both but I think the more useful tools you have the better finish youi get on your model projects..BM

Liquid chrome is actually better in terms of natural metal finish than many model paints. I really like it, because it's easily applicable and can be cleaned relatively easily with lacquer thinner. The finish is shiny and durable. It's great to work with but sometimes the liquid chrome can dry on the tip. The marker tip doesn't leave strokes either and the marker itself easier to control. I've used it to paint fine details such as wiring in wheel bays and ejection seat belt buckles.

Closest thing to real chrome. Great for details of any kind. Instrument details. Touch up chrome parts at sprue attach points. Gotta have this stuff. Use once and you're hooked. Wipe tip with lacquer thinner to clean a dry tip. Contains about 1/3 oz. Can be taken apart to clean & refill. Dries very fast. Don't take it apart untill refilling (dries too fast)

These Chrome pens make detailing moldings a breeze. This 1mm pen sometimes had a hard time keeping paint on it however. Be careful to have to much come out other wise you will get it all over your finished paint job. This is not meant to be clear coated over. A bit of advise, keep a q-tip with alcohol close by just in case.

These markers are the best chrome I have used. I still use chrome foil, but these are great for compound curves and touch up. They are ink and mistakes can be cleaned up with non-acetone (pink) finger nail polish remover. I use all 3 sizes. Be sure when you store them, store them with the tip up.

I recommend practicing on some extra sprue plastic before using in a model. This 1mm can put out too much paint if not careful when loading. Once you have the feel, you'll get beautiful results. Pretty much self leveling so don't keep fussing over it, put it on and leave it alone.

1mm is very skinny, be careful on drip rails and window trim, it can get out of control quite easy. Nice chrome paint, I like it better than chrome foils. Don’t seem like much is in the pen, but we shall see. Kinda pricy, but it does look nice

These are indispensable for covering white plastic left from cutting chrome off of their trees. Also for detailing dashboards and interiors. Looks the most like chrome next to bare metal foil. Shake it thoroughly before using.

The Molotov liquid chrome marker gives a true metal appearance rather than the metal flake appearance of most paints. The small tip makes it easy to use on small parts or to pick out details on gaming figures.

I've used all kinds of silver paint trying to touch up Chrome after you cut it off the sprue finally somebody has some real Chrome where is this been all my life a must-have 10 +

This pen comes in extremely handy whenever you need a touch of chrome or a little help in applying some trim to a car body. The uses are probably endless so have fun.

awesome chrome in pen form 1mm is excellent for hard to reach areas ...wish i had this yrs ago this is way better than using chrome silver paint

Best chrome marker by far. It comes out just like chrome. Great for detail work and mouldings on car kits.

I really love this marker for doing Chrome.Trim and door handles for small stuff and it works great

Liquid chrome markers are great to have for those older cars and trucks
