I Bought this model car a month or two ago and I simply enjoyed putting it together! It does not take a lot of experience in model cars to finish this one. I loved it, it has much potential and it's such an iconic car in itself. So for me to put it on display is amazing. This is the first car I have ever built so it was actually pretty fun as I thought it would have been hard or confusing. It was the opposite, The instructions were very clear. and the only thing i need to assemble it was Cement glue! (And paint for you people who love to add your own personal color to it). Im very happy about purchasing this car and I hope this review will influence you to purchase it as well!

My only constructive criticism is the engine bays can be a bit lacking in detail, but the kits have great fitment, great body, interior, and undercarriage detail, and very minimal flash. Tamiya is my favorite brand to build now. The posable front wheels are a nice touch. Advice from experience: with the clear plastic hoods, prime them first. I used metallic paint on it bare and it ate into the plastic, and I broke it trying to sand it down. Not a reflection on the kit quality, just something I learned the hard way. I covered the split with pinstriping tape as a lazy coverup.

I had a blast on this one. This kit leaves the door open to be modified ( roll cage, bigger turbos, inner cooler, etc. ) but its very easy to be modified. there are rims and other add on kits for this online. many different ways to build this gtr and looks great any way. the parts were molded great and with alot of detail. also they were trimmed cleanly. There was 0 flash and very little mold lines that needed sanding. i spent hours on this kit and enjoyed it very much. Looks great on the shelf next to a few classics and/or some imports.

Excellent kit, I enjoyed building this model a lot and it was fairly easy to put together for a beginner like me. The instructions were simple and clear. Great kit and incredible details on the entire car. Only con would be is that some parts were a bit difficult to put on but that could possibly be just a rookie mistake from by a beginner like me. Oh and almost forgot to mention the price is great as well for such a great model kit.

Purchased this item in 2014. Just now assembling. This is an excellent purchase price for a Tamiya model. The engine and suspension are up to Tamiya standards. But what's the deal with the clear plastic hood (bonnet in the U.K.). I thought raising the hood was the way to have a look. I'm thankful that engines were included in 1989. I do recommend this kit.

I got this as a Christmas present this year and absolutely loved building it! It was way more in depth than I thought, I had to build the engine and almost every component in the vehicle. I am definitely going to be purchasing more from Hobbylinc, very good quality, no damages to box, and super fun!

As of writing this I am about half way through finishing this kit, and I love it so far. The engine is very detailed and I have had no issues with fitment/alignment of any pieces. As a bit of a novice I feel this is a kit that is easy to understand, yet still detailed enough to be exciting.

Very nice kit, very detailed instructions, on point detail, GREAT PRICE, very customizable. Plus, this one has a fully detailed engine! I will most definitely be ordering more! Oh, did I mention GREAT PRICE?

Its a detailed model that comes with a clear hood that you can paint if you want. A lot of small detail parts. Fun having clean hood to see all the details. Do not need to be an experienced modeler.

This is the most detailed model car I've put together and it looks amazing! All the pieces fit nicely.

Specifically what I was looking for a skyline r32 body. Looks pretty decent. Engine details were moderate.

This kit builds very nicely. The detail is great and the clear hood is an awesome bonus!

Great kit. Easy assembly. Awesome molds. Definitely worth the price.
