USS Iowa 1944
Great build and was from an older kit, only this was Fujimi version from 1990s with instructions from the Tamiya kit including camoflague instructions. Took me a couple weeks to put together, especially with doing the detail paint work for the camo and mounting of the sea planes. I think Hobbylinc used to carry this but it is now discontinued.
The build is actually quite easy, but don't recommend for anyone under 12 or 14 due to the small parts.
USS Iowa WWII version
Many small parts that assemble nicely into a fine display model of USS Iowa circa WWII. Typical Tamiya waterline model. No flash, good directions, a pleasure.
Pros and cons
Small parts along with the water slide decals are very difficult to attach but on the bright side. The build was worth it once you finish it.
