Still Around and One of the Best!
I think I have built this kit over time about three times and have one of the guns mounted on a self propelled Anti-tank vehicle shown on here. This time I decided to have a model with the trailing arms out and a crew manning it in the dead of Winter. I took about 5 hours to complete the kit with care given to the tiny yet highly detailed parts. There are many of these that make the kit well worth having and caution should be taken to ensure that the detailing remains at its greatest extent. I waited until the kit was fully assembled until I painted it using all acrylics. I would highly recommend that an experienced modeler take on this model due to the complex parts.
Good kit for beginners
This is an old kit from 1975 that is still on the market and can be found in many stores. It is very inexpensive and easy build which makes it a good choice for beginners. The kit has a very low piece count and the sprues have minimal flash making it an easy weekend build. The kit comes with 3 figures and ammunition so it can be made into a diorama. You have the option of building the gun with the breach in the open or closed position and also the option of the building the gun in the firing or towed position. The details are average on the gun and poor on the figures faces but given the price this kit is a solid choice for any modeler.
Small pack, big fun
This is such a great little kit; can be knocked out in an afternoon and you end up with a very well-detailed piece of artillery and a crew. It takes a bit of patience to get the figures’ limbs aligned properly, but they’re nicely detailed and have great facial expressions. Comes with a few shells and an ammo case. I left the hinges on the kickstand(?) as well as the swivel on the barrel just for some possibility options. There are a few delicate bits within the gun mechanisms but nothing too bad. Plus, it can get dropped into just about any diorama for a little drama. Get it! Get two!
Awesome for a great price
After researching this gun for some time, I started on this kit and was very surprised- every detail from the real life version is incorporated into this kit! To be honest, this was my first Tamiya kit to build. Always been doing Revell kits and - wow! The parts had close to zero flash if any and were very nicely detailed. For a kit at this price I'd consider buying a couple more to do in the n Africa paint scheme and maybe a winter camo scheme. This is the perfect beginners kit if you are looking to do your first attempt at a diorama. I would definitely recommend this kit!!
Nice little model by Tamiya
I had three Hanomags and only two 75mm guns so had to get a third to even things out. It went together with no problems. Even the little pieces didn't give me the usual problems. Only thing was the figures had a lot of seam work that needed to be done. Did I do it, no way. A quick build. If it wasn't having to wait for the glue to set would have finished in a couple of hours instead of three. Would say this kit is good for any age builder, ok maybe not two or three but ten and up should be able to handle it.
A Wonderful Inexpensive Weapon
The detail for me is very good. I have another manufacturer's model of the same weapon and it does not have the niceties that this Hobbylinc supplied model does. The only drawback in assembly was in the construction of the shield. Those A-34 struts are tricky for me. The model painted well. I will give serious consideration in the future. Paint any thisg that will be behind other parts while on the sprue if possible. The price and value of the model itself compel me to have a company of these.
Excellent model, maybe not for beginners
First off, the price tag on this model is excellent. I'm planning on buying many more of these and refining my build. The pieces fit together very well, to the point where the gun can be trained left and right, up and down. The reason why beginners might want to avoid this is because the gun mechanisms are accurate, meaning the pieces are very small. The struts connecting the gun to the shield have to be carefully placed and angled to fit properly.
A Must Have For Any German Armor Collection
Excellent for any beginner modeler. The 75 mm Tank Gun is very detailed and the articulation is amazing. Moving parts include wheels, muzzle brake, and the turret. You can even close the support legs to hitch up to an Sdkfz 251/1. Model very easy and fun to complete and I plan on purchasing a few more. The figures and cannon shells that accompany it completes the package and make for an awesome diorama. Another solid product from Tamiya.
I've always wanted to build this one...

This is a really good kit considering it's age. You can't beat the price either I'm an old guy, and it's been in the Tamiya catalog since I was a kid, so I bought it as a fun build that I've always wanted to do. There quite a few small parts and the fit can be a little fiddly, so it might be a bit tough for beginners. I think everyone else will have no problem. It's a fantastic bargain
Great for the price.
Cannot go wrong with this kit especially for the price. It is an older kit from the 70's but can built in a hour if so desired. Looks great on a shelf or in a diorama. If doing the latter, I recommend buying the AFV club shelld for it as the ones supplied in the kit have very little detail. Highly recommend this kit.
The 1/35 German 75mm Anti-Tank gun by Tamiya
If your a German Artillery collector then this is a must have for your collection,I have one for my European and one for my Africa core collection in respective colors, i finished off the set for more realisum and used the helmet and uniform decal sets. this is a good model for a 1st time model builder and the pro alike.
Diorama ready! 75 mm anti-tank gun
By: jjc40
What can you say the Cream of the Crop in model making, Tamiya, all parts were there and clean no fuss removing them from spurs. The cannon was easy to assemble and the barrel and muzzle looks tough, the crew that goes with are pretty detailed also, in the diorama it will be in an ambush scene waiting for an easy kill.
Excellent detail on gun, soldier details a bit 'thick' in places
This is a nice kit. The double-walled front armor plate is especially well done, as well as the weapon breech. The figure poses are quite nice, but they are 'older' Tamiya productions, so expect some thickness in the fingers which takes away from their realism a bit.
Great Diorama addition
This little kit is a fun build. Whether you plan to build it as a stand alone kit or as apart of a diorama (like I did), you just can't go wrong here. The kit comes with 3 decent miniatures and the gun itself is well detailed. Recommend for any WWII builder out there
This is a great add on to the Tamiya halftrack
This kit pairs well with the Halftrack from Tamiya, both of with I've painted in a desert option. I've not painted the gun crew/ammo, but will soon. It has good detail, and fits together well, yet has some very small parts.
Great model for modelers.
This is an amazing Tamiya kit, one of the first I built but would be hard to recommend this to beginners because of how small the gun instrument are, and the precision needed to get a good product. The crew is hard to stand up too.
Easy to use
This kit is easy to assemble with very few minor inconveniences. Parts have been carefully designed to fit properly. Make sure to cut or sand excess plastic in molding lines. Let your imagination fly when building the setup.
Can't pass the price!
Another super inexpensive kit from Tamiya and hobbylinc.com! Be careful not to glue all of the pieces together that are to rotate and elevate!I am going to dio in the travel position and use the figures for another gun!
Got to love Tamiya
If your looking to get models Tamiya is the way to go. They always have a abundant amount of extras to go with every model they produce. They are also molded very well so everything fits great and looks seamless.
Awesome little kit
Very nice little kit. Very detailed with decent figures. A lot of very little parts but goes together really well even with big fingers. Going to use it for an African WW2 diorama with a couple other Tamiya kits
Great detail
The number of parts along with the detail, make for a great build, and a satisfyingly picture perfect result. If you like realistic looking artillery you cannot go wrong with this kit.
Anti tank gun
All the pieces are clean looking and are ready to be put together. Love how you can make it in battle or transport. I'm just starting out in modeling and I love all tamiya products
Pretty good
This was the first model I have ever built. It was a good one, but I needed tweezers as the small parts are hard to handle. I would recommend this for a more experienced builder.
Not too shabby
Awesome build, pretty cool also movable parts. Placing the shield on the actual model was a little tricky but not to bad. Good build for bingineers but has a lot if small parts.
Awesome on wheels
This kit is totally awesome! And for the price it sure does have a lot. Something I would love to see: someone just has to buy like ten of this kit and have an artillery line.
Nice model for the price!
Really Nice model for the price lots of detail the armor shield was a little tricky to attach but overall good, figures and shells for the model really bring it all together.
awesome anti tank gun
this kit from tamiya is excellent. the pak 40 molding is really good and the figures fit the kit well. some bits are a little difficult to put on but its easy enough
Anti tank gun pak40L46
Kit looks great, thank you for the quick delivery time it was delivered on the day promised. I will definitely be ordering from your site in the future. Thanks again
Lots of details
Very fine details and cool to put on a diorama. Had no issues with it just take your time building it. You can put it in a half track or have it being towed.
Best model out there
This is a really good model. It is super cheap and it is of a medium difficulty to put together. Very realistic so get a battery of a few guns for yourself
A wonderful edition to my collection

Another great quality model from Tamiya. Very detailed figured and parts. A little harder to assemble for people who are new to the hobby, so be warned!
it is worth it trust me
this is worth it. i used for a ww2 diorama would upload a picture but i don't have one the gun and figures are amazing that is all i have to say.
pak 40 L46 Happy Times

This model was nice build. Customized the paint job to my liking. The instructions are very easy to follow. Nice addition to my collection
Fun little kit
A fun kit that goes together well and fast. An excellent kit as a center piece or secondary piece in any WWII diorama.
75mm a/t gun
Good kit AR a reasonable price the only problem was as expected 2 piece barrel. They are always a real pain.
Fun and Quick Kit
Fun kit for a short build - worth the money. Lots of useable extras like shells and empty shell casings.
Nice kit
This is a great, cheap kit to get. It is very accurate and makes an outstanding complete diorama.
Worth the price

Worth the price . Components easy to assemble and directions are good with what paints to use
Cool, inexpensive kit.
Very detailed considering the price, Lots of small parts that are easy to lose though.
pretty good
good beginner model easily broken if dropped unfortunately
Tamiya precision
Quick and precise. Also did the 37.5. A one day job. Now for the diorama.
PAC 40
Some pieces didn’t fit together great but other than that easy and fast.
