Reviews : Tamiya German Assault Infantry w/Winter Gear

It's December 1944 and the Ardennes Forest is hiding the crack German troops that with fight in the Battle of Bastogne and more! This is the set that does the job for my Winter scenes. The figures are so well molded that the detailing stands out with little need for more. All of the coats and pull-over smocks are finely detailed with folds and creases to show realistic wearing. All of the battle poses are very well shown and the images of white shadows moving through the dense morning fog is can be seen as if in real life! Tamiya as a model company really went all out with this set as I added a figure from a similar set of four and modified that figure to carry a German bazooka. I would highly recommend this set for anyone with a few figure sets under their belt as there are details that need attention given.

These tamiya german assault infantry figures are highly detailed and can be put together with whatever accessories you want, including canteens, ammunition, and other details. These figures can be integrated into a variety of scenes, and certainly add to the realistic character of any diorama.

Have gone back to ww2 kits and this turned out to be a good one. Tamiya keeps impressing me with their model kits. No problem with fit slight seam work but not much. Like the different poses with the winter gear. Went with a slightly different approach with my photos than a wartime diorama.

Nice model that you may use for a variety of winter scenes especially the eastern front campaigns of both Stalingrad(which I used)and Leningrad. Figures look nice after proper weathering and additional detailing needed for combat scenes. Does not include any helmet decals though.

The main problem I had with this kit was me. I really didn't know how to do the camo smoks. There for they don't look right. That's all on me. The kit is very good.

This kit is perfect all the way around. The detail is outstanding, it goes together like a snap. Troops poses are true to form and realistic. Can not say enough good about set.

For the price you can’t beat it, The figures are so life like in winter gear . Only hobbylinc as such a variety. Hobbylinc keep up the good work. I’m sold! Dynamo 1

Love the detail on these figs and the fact they have greatcoats. Excellent set for creating a tension- filled WWII winter diorama

Have been waiting for this kit for awhile. I think it's going to look good with other kits on a diorama.
