Good, useful background building
Bud's Trucking is a generic modern warehouse that can fill in just about anywhere. As packaged it can be full or half width without modification, or something in between with some knife work. It is simple and easy to build and paint. The parts are all nice heavy plastic with no warping and only a tiny bit of flash on one piece. I needed it to be deeper than the 1.25 inches as built so I cut a panel from each end and moved them to the sides. This necessitated making my own roof and base out of art board. Overall I am very happy with the building. The only negative is the door diaphragms don't look all that great and the signs are just paper and not actual decals. As usual the instructions are written as if the modeler will not be painting the building. If you are going to paint it you will have to deviate a bit from them. Finally, all Walthers buildings have a footprint diagram and building instructions on the Walthers website, which is very helpful in determining if a structure is right for you.
