Reviews

Review Summary

The reviews highlight the tool's usefulness as an extra set of hands, particularly for holding small model parts during painting, gluing, or drying, with the clamps being more frequently used than the magnifying glass. The magnifier is appreciated for detailed work on tiny components, and the weighted base provides stability, though some users noted issues with parts loosening, clumsy adjusters, or components like the magnifying glass falling off. Overall, while most find it indispensable for modeling, a few expressed disappointment in its execution or durability.

Nice tool and a great pair of extra hands

By: jeremy.s.michels1

This comes in very handy all the time on my bench. I use the clamps a lot more than I do the magnifying glass. That I mainly use for very fine painting of parts. The clamps are like an extra set of hands. They are great for holding parts for painting, keeping parts in a certain position while they dry, or anything else that you need them to do. The base is solid and won't tip over from the weight of a model. Unfortunately the one that I have can be a pain as the parts don't like to stay tight and will start to fall if you aren't careful.

I can see

By: rdridr

This tool is great for painting those super small parts you can hardly see and hold but in order to paint you have to remove it from the sprue. Also holds the parts for you should you need to glue or repair them.
