The model rocket engine tube is the part of the model rocket that houses the model rocket engine. This is the long wide blue tube in the picture to the right.

A standard engine tube is made of the same material as the body tube. The centering rings keep the engine tube centered in the body tube to the rocket engine is correctly aligned. The engine hook holds the engine within the engine tube.

Some model rockets do not have a typical engine tube, but use the actual body tube of the rocket as the engine tube.
