"Patience needed, results good"
Overall, the detail on the SU's are pretty good. I like the add on separate tools, machine gun, spotlight. You will need to play around with the road wheels to get the armatures seated correctly. The rear bulkhead is also difficult to insert. However, the end result is satisfying. All in all, you can't beat the deal of two tanks for this price.

"very annoyed pegasus you can do better!!!!"
the kit has the KV-1 tank chassis with the royal pain in the butt bogie wheel assembly this can be assembled but usually takes several tries as 1 or more wheels will pop out as your attaching the tracks to the hull. However the thing that really made my blood pressure rise was the back wall for the upper hull WILL NOT FIT !!!!!!!! no matter how you cut it shave it that bulkhead won't go in right. i noticed the casting in that area seems melted and the slot for that wall is way too wide for it allowing it to slop all over the place even with glue the thing went together cockeyed GGRRRR!!!!!!. the next hassle is the machine guns they will not go in the holes with out breaking the attachment even when i bored out the holes!!! The extra fuel tanks go in but come out very easily so i just glued them in . the tow hooks also don't like to go in their slots without a fight. however once you have won your battle you do get a rugged beast with main guns that can be switched out so keep your extra gun mounts they pop in and out real easy and stay put once in. another grip i have with pegasus where the heck are the decals?

"Decent Assault Gun, with some nice options"

The Pegasus 1/72 ISU-122 / 152 Soviet Assault Gun comes with 45 possible parts per vehicle, which allows you to make any combination of the two options, but no decals. On first opening the box, the parts have flow marks on the plastic, which is easily covered by the paint, and some of the parts seem somewhat over scale. It should be noted that this is not a snap together kit, and much of the stowage on the hull are separate pieces. For any who have built a Soviet heavy tank, the suspension is by far the hardest part of the vehicle, and Pegasus has attempted to help in aligning the parts, but each set of tracks is still made up of 9 parts which must be perfectly aligned to fit into 11 holes in the hull. I found that cutting off the pegs that go from the road wheel suspension arms into the hull allowed me to position the assembly properly and to then, to line up the suspension arms with the hull. Out of the box the two options are for an ISU-152 and an ISU-122S (or ISU-122-2), but you can also cut off the muzzle brake from the 122mm gun and use the 152mm mantlet to produce an early ISU-122.
