I bought this kit because it was heavily discounted and I was looking for an easy and fun kit as a break from the expensive and high part count kits I've been doing. Well, I've never experienced so much angst building a kit that I'm sure AMT was targeting for kids! The parts have a lot of flash but the real problem is there are no pins, slots, guides, etc. for mating one part to another. It's completely arbitrary where some parts end up, such as the bumpers, windows, undercarriage, etc. The clear plastic windshields are all interconnected, which again is fine for an inexpensive kit, but the passenger compartment lays on top of them and if you don't have the windows seated just so, the interior compartment won't sit properly either. Lastly the undercarriage has no resting pins or supports to sit on, so you're counting on the thin mating surfaces of the body fenders. If this kit is truly intended for inexperienced or novice modelers, it certainly isn't the way to introduce them to the hobby.
