look's like another nice build starting soon.round 2 did great job on this re-issue. part's look pretty much flash free and i do not for see any problems when i build it. i know no kit is perfect but this one look's to be straight and an will be a nice addition to the collection of old racer's. nice pad printed slick, good detail on the 427 mid-engine design and wheelie bar to keep it grounded. looking forward to building this kit. also come's with really nice retro art box.

"Fun build"

I was happy to find this kit at a rummage sale so I picked it up with several others kits. It's a fun build ut the engine is kind of generic with no real standout features. The instructions are good but they do show the valve covers upside done but I have seen worse. The molding has some flash but it cleans up nicely with a little sandpaper. The biggest thing you need to look for is the blower drive belt. I had to shorten the crank and idler pulley mounting tabs to get it to fit right. The other thing is the instrument panel did not line up and left about 1/8 gap that I had to use a spare piece of plastic I had in my parts box and then filled in with putty. All in all it was a fun kit to assemble and this is the first reissue of this kit in a long time. I painted mine copper undercoat with candy red. Looks pretty good on the shelf. I would recommend this kit to level 2 or better modelers.

Very little flash from molding. went together well just a few adjustments needed to get all 4 wheels on the ground. choice of clear or red tint windows. Red looks the best.
