Okay, so I didn't pay attention to the dimensions when I ordered this rocket. It's fairly tiny, but it packs a lot of very cool detail into the small package. Mini engine power, so it should scoot off the pad. Finishes to be a very nice looking bird that can fly on small or big fields depending on what motor you choose from the mini lineup.

"My favorite Estes kit!"

I haven't built it yet, but I think this may be one of my favorite Estes kits ever. I just love the 'old-school' aesthetic of this small rocket. From the balsa nosecone to the cut-the-dowels-to-fit details to the mini-engine power. This kit represents the best materials and build aspects of the old-time kits, to the accuracy of the modern-day laser-cut parts, all at a great price. Simply put, I love this kit! Every rocketeer, old and new, should get an Airborne Surveillance Missile for the nostalgia and to understand a bit of the history of this great hobby. Pictures to follow as construction begins. I can't wait to get it to the bench.
