"Decent kit for the price"
Riggard
For the price the details are great including a detailed under carriage. The tires aren't very good, but for the price it's hard to complain, there aren't many fitment issues either. It didn't include any figures which isn't really a big deal since a lot of companies make after market figures. In short it's a good kit for the price.

"Marine Corps Gun Truck"

I love this kit so much. I rode these Humvees in 2004 during Operation Vigilant Resolve, before, during, and after...I rode better trucks in 2005, I love my M1114.

"Needs accessories"

Basic build. No engine components, no figures. Great suspension details. I would do another one but leave the armored plates off the side. Needs lots of accessories, radios, gas cans, bags. Fun regardless.

"Better than average skill level."

Looks like this kit was the M1097A2 cargo truck. Trucks front suspension is a mess. Diagrams do not match truck when building the front end. You must take time to evaluate how you are going to make this work. Line up the hood with the engine lift bracket sticking up threw the hood. Not the way it show you, and that's why you need some experience putting models together. I have modified a lot on this kit. Built a hinge that works on the side of the doors so they actually open and close. And reassigned it to the M1097A2 version. For around 20 bucks great value, but not for a beginner. If you put some time into this you can make it look like a 40 or 50 dollar Model.

Markings

  • One decal sheet with markings for 1 version
  • 1) US Marine Corps - Iraq, 2004
