I had several family work at Willow Run building B-24s in WWII and so I wanted to work on a model for my office. I'm a little mixed on the model overall and some of it is my own inexperience. It turned out alright but some fit issues in the nose area were disappointing. Pros: B-24 in 1/72 scale is just a nice size to work with. As a teenager, I had one in 1/48 scale and it took up a ton of space. Very little flash. Wing connection to main fuselage is solid. Cons: The bomb bay doors are wrong for a B-24, they should roll up like a garage door and instead these look like B-17's bomb bay doors. Issues with the fit near the nose of the plane. Couldn't figure out a way to model it with wheels up. Not a great way to balance the plane on its wheels.

Bit of a challenge building this. The nose half of model is glued on fusalage half (like trying to attach a card on end to another card); I put fusalage together then nose halves together and attached them. Instruction are somewhat confusing at points. Painted my model olive drab. Plane decals are very good. The aircarft is nice when completed and goes well with other 1/72 scale WWII aircraft.
