I remember building this model when I was a kid. I won't tell you how long ago that was, but I only paid $2 for the kit! I was glad that they kept the original box art and instructions because I found s repackaged Boot Hill Express at a local hobby shop and the new instructions were difficult to follow and were full of errors. This kit was very fun to build as the instructions were very clear. The parts had very little flash, which was surprising for a kit of this age. My only problems were I had to clamp the engine hafts together as they were slightly warped, and I had to tape the body to the chassis to get it to fit tight. My only change I made was to use Bare Metal foil for the joints on the floor on the rear. This was an excellent kit and a good project for a beginner. I hope to see more of these kits from my childhood in the future.
