"Great Kit"

Nicely detailed and goes together well. I especially like the decals that come with this kit that add more realism; gauges, emblems, tire lettering, radiator number, engine plaques, etc. Very nice

"A rare classic car kit"
jmabry26757 (Romney,WV)
I’ll be the first to admit that the most beautiful cars were the pre WWII luxury cars. But unless you want to spend a small fortune for the Monogram kits from the 70’s on EBay there aren’t very many kits available. So I bought this kit went I saw it was available. This was the first kit I’ve ever bought that was from Revell of Germany, and I wasn’t disappointed. The kit has a ton of details, and went together with vey little problems. The instructions were excellent except on step 31 where it showed putting the radiator too far forward, where the headlight brackets are mounted. The decals may be the best part of this kit as they release from the backing paper after only a few seconds in the water. The best part is they are opaque, and the background color does not show thru, especially the white. The major problem with this kit is the paint colors are referenced to Revell of Germany paint, which is not available in the U. S., so you need to go online to cross reference the color to available paint companies in this country. The only detail that is missing in this kit is there isn’t a radiator behind the front grill. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone who loves this type of cars. But there is one question on it that has me stumped: If this is a Revell of Germany kit, why is the word “Heller” in raised letters in the area that goes under the back seat?

This kit is a lot of fun to put tougher, and very challenging. I love the detail Revell put into this.

"Great model... when it's finished"

Very hard to build, lots of little pieces, incredible detail. Better have sprays and airbrushes ready in addition to paint by hand. Using silver/chrome spray on top of the fake plastic chrome parts adds a much more realistic feel to the model, too. Kept me busy about 25 hours in total.
