"Fine kit, little flash, good fit"

The Oscar Duck has always been a favorite of mine. A few of my fellow pilots flew it in the waning days of Viet Nam. This is a finely detailed kit which fits together well. Twenty plus hours if you take your time and detail it. Pros: Good fit, excellent molding. Cons: Decal sheet is weak.

I absolutely loved the material used in the moldings. Very smooth finish and fit well. Flashing gets a little excessive on the small parts. But, detail is exceptional in my opinion as someone who works on a real-life version of these. The engines are correct for Continental I/O 360s even the seat frames were correct. The decals though, are awful. The decals WILL tear. Regardless of the care you take which is what leads me to believe these are NOS models that have sat in storage for some time. I believe a little has been lost in translation with the instructions but, all in all a nice kit.
