This tank is a lot different then the U.S. M10 Tank Destroyer. I had already built the M10 and really enjoyed it. So I got the British version. I made 2 mistakes that caused me to buy another one and correct my mistakes. First I assumed the tank color was (XF62) olive drab like the U.S. version. The British use Tamiya XF61 dark green. Second mistake was on step 15 I installed part A5 after installing C10 the back of the upper hall. This caused the side skirts B2 and B20 not to align correctly. So I purchased another kit. So I am taking the first tank and doing something I have never done and making it look as if it has battle damage. I tore off part of the side skirts. This will hide my mistake. Then drilled a hit on the front slop. Then some minor hits on the left side. I am leaving off some of the accessories like tools and the figures. I completed my second tank and I am Very happy with how it looks. PRO'S: Excellent fit and great detail. No gaps. Instructions book is 16 pages. Decals for 2 different divisions(Italy and North West Europe). Single piece tracks that look great. Just had to paint the metal parts XF53 metal grey. A lot of detail in the open turret. But I think the four figures really makes it POP. A lot different then the U.S. version. CON'S: None Just read the instructions first and don't assume you are correct. Even experienced builders think they know it all. Not for beginners. Keep loving what you are doing.
