It's a Beast.

This thing is a monster. The fit was very good with very little putty and sanding necessary. Over all detail is very good, as is usual with Tamiya. With the cost of this kit, do yourself a favor and invest a little more by getting a metal barrel and a photo etched set. I even purchased the individual metal track links because I find them more realistic and easier to more accurately weather. The fenders, hatches, and engine grates are too thick so the photo etched parts make a tremendous difference. Even though there weren't many of these built during the war, it is still very impressive to add to your collection.

Itâ€™s a big one

This built into a model that was actually larger than I expected (it FELT larger anyway. I had two problems with it: getting the lines to disappear on the barrel and getting the upper and lower halves of the vehicle to fit together properly. Solved the barrel problem with putty and sandpaper. Solved the fit problem with patience! :)
