Out of the box this kit is really nothing special, its an old kit thats been around but is still highly popular and easy to build. There is a plethora of aftermarket parts available for this kit from PE detail parts to Zimmerit kits to metal gun barrels so turning it into a nice piece shouldn't be very difficult. Out of the box the details are basic but everything appears to be accurate with the only exception I noticed was the track links should have hollow guide horns not solid ones but thats not that big of an issue also the tracks are individual links but be careful because some links are for the tracks and some are for the spare tracks which go on the turret sides. Take care when clipping these off the sprues because its very easy to get them mixed up. The other missing piece I noticed was that you have the option to build Michael Wittman's command tank which is nice but the kit is missing the extra antennas which would have accompanied this vehicle. Although Tamiya did release a 'Special Edition' kit which had the extra antenna it would be nice if it were included here in this kit as well. Other than that its a very easy to build kit, easy to paint and has alot of aftermarket parts available for it.

This is a great kit.However take caution while doing the tracks. They are link to link not link and length i would highly recommend this for anybody who wants a challenge .
