German Schamhorst Battleship Boat

The battle cruiser Scharnhorst, which sailed about the Atlantic Ocean at a high speed of up to 32 knots with her sister ship Gneisenau and rendered distinguished services, had the most brilliant career of all the capital ships of the German Navy. The two battle cruisers were famous for their beautiful style. It may safely be said that their well-proportioned shape ranked second to no other battleships of the world.

"Amazing detail for the size!"

I got the Sharnhorst to go with my German navy I've started to build. Its a beautiful model and has amazing detail. The rear mast is really fragile but apart from that its a really nice build.I would highly recomend this as a good starter german ship or just as a nice day or two build.

"Awesome"

This was a great model kit. I think I will get the sister ship as well just for completions sake. Even though the detail wasn't amazing and the parts were difficult to fit together without having gaps in some places it turned out to be an undeniably good kit.

"Good kit for its age"

This kit is ok built out of box and it doesn't break the bank. Not much detail but is a good start. Throw in some photo etch and maybe a wood deck and it's a great kit.

Frankly, a not-very detailed, old kit. You're not going to be impressing anyone with details. Its redeemed by two factors: it's (very) cheap and its fit isn't too shabby. If you're a beginner or looking for a ground for experiment, I would recommend.
