This scene takes place in the shade of a large tree. A treehouse made of scraps of wood sits on a triangular platform in the fork of the
tree. Steps made of boards lead up to the treehouse. Under the tree
is a doghouse with a dog in it and a wooden crate with a birdhouse
sitting on it. A boy swings from a tire swing attached to one of
the tree branches.
May be finished in natural pewter or painted as realistic miniatures.
Easy to assemble and fun to paint.
Includes easy to follow assembly instructions.
Add color, interest and authenticity to your HO scale layout, or display as a miniature under a glass dome (not included).

A nice product, but I don't like pewter

I built this for the Longmont, CO library's layout. I think the finished product looks nice, but handling pewter is problematic. Hand washing is mandatory. You must also wash the pieces after trimming. There was a lot of flash in my kit. All pieces must be primed. You should use spray enamel or you risk obliterating the details in the pieces. The directions were fine. I guess the main thing I didn't like about the finished product was that the tree branches were too thick in my opinion.

This Is A Great Kit

I really enjoyed building this kit it was fun.I placed the tree house on my farm house property.The pro's are the kit looks great the con's are I would have liked to have a couple of more children playing especially one child climbing up the the tree.I would liked to have known that there weren't a lot of pieces in the kit.
