bought this loco. to go with a basic model train set that i already have,product arrived on time,no damage runs perfect.its not the most expensive loco available but as for my limited budget the price was right.and the LED head lamp was an extra bonus for me considering i wasn't expecting one. it shines a whole lot brighter than head lamp on my other loco.which has a regular light bulb.

Runs great and looks very authentic, very happy with this product.

Bachmann offers many body shells to fit their excellent GP40 main frame. I wish other mfr like Walthers would also sell multiple body shells for each locomotive (GP9m, GP15-1, F7A, etc). Imagine buying a new locomotive and buying 2-3 extra body shells in the same order. I collect GN, NP, CB&Q, BM, etc and would like multiple road name shells for each main frame. Ho-hum, but to dream... Remember to always lube Bachmann locomotives before running break-in use.
