I am currently in the process of building this amazing kit. Here is the suspension system on the lower hull. And yes, it does work. The interior is now painted white. As you can see, I have just started to install some of the interior parts. I want to shade and weather the interior walls, before I add anymore interior parts. I think it looks great.

As you can see, the painting of the exterior is mostly finished. I will start weathering it sometime soon. As for the interior, I haven't really started on it. I still have a lot of work to do before I finish this magnificent kit.

I started painting the details in the interior of the turret's upper section. This is just a rough paint job. I will have every detail painted before I consider this turret interior completed.

This is just to give you some idea of how large the track links are on this T-34/85.

I started weathering the exterior of the T-34/85. I am mostly using my dry brush to achieve the effect of a tank in the heat of battle. I also used AK Interactive Dark Brown wash and Light Rust effects.

This is what one of the road wheels looks like since I have been weathering it for a few days. I just want to mention that one of the best part of this kit is that it comes with 20 rubber tires, which snuggly fit over the rims of the road wheels. I think they look great!

Work continues on the interior of the upper hull. Once again, the detail is amazing!

So I started weathering the individual track links. I have so far used my dry brush to create a battle-hardened tank. Besides using the color steel, I have used the AK Interactive products Light Rust and Track Wash. I still have to add the color sand, which will definitely highlight the black tracks

Although I am not done working on the engine, I wanted to see what it looked like inside the hull. As you can see, I have also added the floor ammunition bins to the interior. I absolutely love this photo! You can clearly see the magnificent detail on this Trumpeter kit. Looks almost real to me!

The only thing I modified in this kit is the engine. When I saw other modelers' pictures of the V-2, I noticed 12 wires, which, I guess, are spark plug wires? Anyways, last night, using an online picture for reference, I decided to add my own set of wires. Here is my humble result. Not perfect but,

Although the interior is far from done, the exterior is almost complete. Yesterday, I added dullcote to the hull, road wheels, and tracks. today I attached the road wheels and tracks to the hull. I also added some decals to the turret. Simply put, I think the model looks beautiful.

Stilling working on the interior but, the suspension system is finished! I love the breathtaking detail on the road wheels and tracks. And yes, I sprayed it all with dullcote.

A close up of the finished engine and transmission. Once again, the only thing I added to this model is the 12 fuel injection lines on the engine. I just used thin metal wire, which I found among my hobby tools.

At last! Here is the finished model, with a Trumpeter Russian tank crew member. The tank looks amazing. Thanks to the dullcote I used, the decals look like they were painted on. The finished model looks incredibly real!
