Russian Tank T34/85 1944 Factory No.183

Being that the T-34/85 is my favorite tank, I have wanted this kit for quite some time. The price is not what kept me from buying it. It was very affordable. No, basically, I was scared because I knew it was going to be a challenge. Anyway, I recently bought the kit and, from the moment I opened the huge box, I was floored. Simply put, this is one of the most beautiful model kits you will ever see. Without a doubt, building this kit will be the closest I ever come to building a real T-34/85. The detail on this huge beast is simply amazing. It has to be seen to be believed. One of the best parts of this incredible kit is the individual track links...which simply snap together. How many of you have spent endless hours, slaving over the odious task of gluing together individual track links? I know I have. Not with this perfect kit. And wait until you see the magnificent detail on the huge turret. It is a true work of art. The other reason I was afraid to buy this kit was the movable suspension system. Last year, I bought the AFV Club 1/35 T-34/76 and totally ruined the suspension on that kit. But it was not the model's fault. I just did not know what I was doing. In other words, be very careful with the suspension system when you are building this kit. But just know, I have had absolutely no problems with the suspension system on this kit. It all goes together like a dream. I am far from finished with this kit. But as they say, it's the journey that matters, not the destination. Trust me, building this kit is a very Zen-like experience. And I am enjoying every moment.
